I have witnessed Randy's unwavering dedication to service for our entire community. Having served as the Lake Forest City Council Finance Committee Chairman for the past six years, I can attest to the importance of having a Mayor to lead our community with a deep understanding of financial issues, financial integrity, innovation, and a genuine commitment to the betterment of our City.
Randy Tack brings broad Lake Forest government experience and expertise. Randy was the first to put forth solutions on the critical issue of funding our Public Safety pension costs. He consistently demonstrated an ability to understand our City's financial affairs and practices. Randy Tack can work with our financial team to help develop creative solutions to manage complex economic challenges.
In the City Council, Randy continually worked to improve all our residents' lives, regardless of their Ward or neighborhood. Randy will recommend workable solutions in the long-term interests of all of Lake Forest and will not succumb to unhelpful negativity. He will not cater to small, single-issue interest groups. He will reunite residents with a shared vision of progress for the whole community.
Notably, Randy has played a continuing community leadership role following his service as Alderman, as evidenced by his current leadership of the Central Business District planning initiative. Randy's continuing volunteer commitment to Lake Forest is unwavering and not motivated simply by a desire to be Mayor.
As Lake Forest Mayor, I am confident Randy will continue advocating for our community's interests and championing positive change. He is the candidate with the vision, the leadership skills, and the experience needed to guide our community through the post-election challenges ahead and to ensure that Lake Forest remains a vibrant and thriving community for years to come.
